What you get with every Solidor

48mm solid timber core

A 44mm solid timber core (48mm with the skin) for real warmth and serious security — the thing Solidor is built around.

Tough, colour-through skin

A scratch-resistant woodgrain skin made from the same durable plastic as Lego®, with the colour running right through and hidden edge banding.

Five-chamber outer frame

A strong, thermally efficient, lead-free frame with 100%-recycled reinforcing, available in nine colours to suit your door.

Locks itself as you close

The Winkhaus AV4 autolock secures the door the moment it shuts — no lifting the handle — with an optional daytime latch for easy coming and going.

£5,000 Ultion guarantee

If a burglar gets in by snapping your Ultion cylinder lock, Ultion’s £5,000 security guarantee applies. Secured by Design locking comes as part of the package.

Smart lock option

Add a NUKI smart lock and open your door from your phone, hands-free, or through Alexa, Google Home or Apple HomeKit — and set it to lock when you leave.

Made in Britain: handmade in Staffordshire

Every Solidor is designed and made in Staffordshire, where they’ve been building composite doors for more than 20 years. Keeping it all under one roof in the UK means tight control over quality — and a smaller carbon footprint than shipping doors across the world.

Only from Solidor: Artistic Glass

Solidor’s exclusive Artistic Glass designs — Tate, Fairmont, Paramount and Wiltern — aren’t available on any other door. They’re made to balance privacy with plenty of natural light in your hallway.

Three collections to choose from

Most styles can be solid or glazed, with a huge choice of glass. Here’s how the range breaks down — I’ll bring the full brochure when I come to measure up.
