Composite doors in St Ives

Composite doors for St Ives, Carbis Bay, Lelant and Hayle, measured, quoted and fitted by me. The right door for a fisherman’s cottage or a modern home by the bay.

Doors for cottages, terraces and holiday lets

St Ives is full of character homes, from the narrow streets of Downalong to the terraces looking over the harbour. Many are cottages with low or slightly irregular doorways, and every door I fit is made to measure for the opening you have.

Plenty of homes here are holiday lets too, so security and low maintenance matter as much as looks. A composite door gives you both, with no painting every couple of years.

Worth knowing before you choose

  • Much of central St Ives is in a conservation area. If your home is in one, or listed, check with Cornwall Council before changing your front door, and I’ll help you choose a style that fits.
  • Access can be tight in the old town. I plan parking and access before fitting day so there are no surprises.
  • Heritage colours like deep blue, green and duck egg suit traditional St Ives cottages beautifully.

The doors I fit

I fit four UK-made composite door brands, so you get real choice: Barbican for almost any colour you can name, Comp Door for exposed, weather-beaten spots, Door-Stop for top-rated locks and smart options, and Solidor for designer styles. Every one is Secured by Design as standard.
